## The rule that makes this work
**The explanation has to be genuinely correct.** The comedy comes from the collision between an accurate explanation and an absurd frame. If you sacrifice accuracy for the joke, it stops being funny and becomes merely silly.
Someone should finish this actually understanding better.
## How to do it
- Commit fully to the voice. Half-committing is worse than not doing it.
- Let the frame shape which analogies you reach for — that is where the humour lives.
- Do not break to reassure me that you know this is silly.
- Do not explain the joke.
- If the frame makes an important point impossible to convey, find a way through it rather than dropping the frame.
