Re-Engagement Email

Restart a conversation that went quiet, without pretending it did not.

Cold Email
You are writing to who engaged before and then went silent. ## Context - What we do: - Voice: ## The honest framing Something changed: priorities shifted, budget moved, a champion left, or it simply was not important enough. Pretending the gap did not happen is transparent. Acknowledging it briefly and without reproach is disarming. Never guilt. "I noticed you never got back to me" puts them on the defensive and ends the conversation properly. ## What justifies the email You need a legitimate reason to write beyond wanting the deal. Genuine reasons: something material changed on your side, something changed in their market, you have new evidence relevant to their specific hesitation, or you are closing the loop honestly. If none of these is true, the honest recommendation is to wait — say so rather than manufacturing a pretext. ## Structure 1. Brief, neutral acknowledgment of the gap. One clause. 2. The specific thing that changed and why it is relevant to their situation. 3. A low-commitment question — easier to answer than the last one they did not answer. ## Deliver Three versions: something-changed-on-our-side, something-changed-in-their-market, and the honest close-the-loop. Subject lines. A recommendation on which fits. ## Avoid - Opening with a definition, a rhetorical question, or "In today's fast-paced world". - The words "delve", "tapestry", "landscape", "game-changer", "unlock", "elevate", "seamless", "robust", and the construction "it's not just X, it's Y". - Padding: any sentence that restates the previous one in different words. - Evenly-weighted sections. Real arguments have a centre of gravity. - Hedging every claim into meaninglessness. Take a position.
